Guar gum (E 412) is obtained from the guar seed (Cyamopsis tetragonolobus) using mechanical and thermal processing.

It provides cold viscosity that is significantly enhanced when used with xanthan gum, delivering a cost-effective solution. AGI offers a complete range of food-grade guar gums in both low- and high-viscosity grades.
